Noil poplin is a unique silk fabric woven from short, leftover silk fibers (noil), giving it a naturally nubby, slubby texture and matte finish, unlike smooth silk, but it's woven in a tight poplin structure for durability, breathability, and a slightly crisp feel, making it great for clothing, decor, and art projects where texture and natural drape are desired.

Not the quality that I expected

The silk is rough which is somehow what I expected. I purchased thia silk to make bathroom towels which I did. After a wash, they dry somewhat quicker than cotton regular ones and take way less space. Plus, its silk, aminoacids, body friendly. Other than that, dont expect the fabric to feel good because it doesnt. And when I wipe the wet drips from washing myself, the towels get wet easily so they are good for one use then they need to dry up first. Delivery was very fast considering the distance. I strongly recommend waahing the material first two times with strong detergent because the material haa a smell of petroleum when it arrives and this smell needs thorough washing.

Nice fabric arrived as described. Overseas shipping took quite some time, but got here safely.
